One day I heard it was available. The next, they said it was coming. I don't know. Whatever it is, nobody has it on sale yet. Of course, unless you hit eBay or get it from some other unofficial channels.
The lucky folks at c|net Asia, however, seems to be the first to get their hands on one long enough to give us a good "first take" impression of this phone. To summarize, they liked the iPhone-like 2.6" QVGA touchscreen, the 3.2MP autofocus camera and the generous 8GB of onboard memory. The lows? They felt that the alphanumeric keys were too bunched together tightly and they were forced to use the stylus for some functions.

Feeling nostalgic? Well, do you have $5.00? If you do then head on over the the iTunes Store and download Sonic the Hedgehog for your iPod. This game is the original Sega classic from 1992. It will play on iPod nano 3G, iPod Classic and iPod 5G. One could only wonder how well it would play using the iPod wheel.

Say what you will about the Cowon A3 looking almost exactly like its predecessor, the Cowon A2. The fact is the changes are all inside; all for the better. Be it the expanded file format support, a higher resolution LCD screen (double the resolution of the A2), ability to play 720p HD content, it is almost impossible to find another player of this caliber.
So it doesn't have WiFi and Bluetooth like the other guys. That still shouldn't stop you from considering the this media power house. Read on to find out why the Cowon A3 should be your next purchase if you are on the market for a well-rounded PMP to play all your media files.

I like reviewing products and so do other contributors to Gadgetaholic. For a while I thought I was doing a pretty good job of reviewing, trying to be thorough and fair in my reviews.
Well, today I have I have met my match and he is a 9 year-old Brit name Rufus Cellan-Jones. His Dad just returned from Nigeria and brought along an XO OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) for him to try out. And tried it out he did. Within just a few days, Rufus was able to write, paint, make music, chat and perform other activities all using his XO laptop. Not only was he able to do all this but he was able to give a thorough review of the laptop, which has since then be a big part of his daily actitivies.
Check out Rufus's video review of the XO OLPC on the BBC News web site and see this "genius" at work. He's a natural in front of the camera. In the video, he takes his audience through all the different features of the laptop, all the while keeping his cool. I am very impressed with this boy. At last, I have met my match. If only I could be as half as good as Rufus...
By the way, Rufus, if you are reading this, you can come review products for Gadgetaholic any time. I'll be glad to have you as a contributor. Good luck with the laptop.

Jason D. O'Grady of ZDNet's The Apple Core are at it again, spreading rumors about Apple. This time Mr. O' Grady is speculating that Apple will be releasing a new line of Apple Cinema Displays at MacWorld Expo in January.
Citing the removal of Cinema Display links from the front page of Apple's online store as the source of the speculation, the O' Grady believes that the new displays will feature LED backlighting, an HDMI port, a built-in iSight camera and a new design.
We'll see about this when MacWorld arrives.

With technology rapidly advancing, new terms are coined almost daily. It is impossible to keep track of them all. Gadgetaholic's Glossary section serves as a repository for these terms to help our readers better understand the articles posted on the site.
Unlike other sites, in which keywords in the article are highlighted to display ads, words in the article of our site are matched against the glossary and get highlighted right in the post. The readers get a pop up window that comes up to explain words that might not be familiar to them.
So, if you have a little time, register as a member and head over to the Glossary section and add an entry or two to it. I will really appreciate it. This will benefit the community as a whole.
Thank you in advance.

It's here and it's spectacular! As usual, the unboxed photos come first. The review should be done by Friday.
My initial impression of the A3 is very positive. The 4" LCD is sharp (though it is not touch screen), and the size and weight are just right. Some people might be put off that it looks just like the A2, just with a different casing color. However, I really do like this new color though. The menu has been refined; it looks sharper and not as cartoonish as the A2's one. I also like being able to bring up the menu and have the video file still playing in the background. Overall, a nice upgrade to the A2.

Yes, it's the season of giving and we're all supposed to be in the giving spirit rather than receiving. But admit it, deep down, you actually want something. And being a gadgetaholic like yourself, you probably want a new shiny gadget under the tree on Christmas tree.
So spill it. Let us know what kind of gadget(s) you want for Christmas. We're just curious.

If you would just look at the specs on the UPOP's latest PMP, you would have thought you were reading the Q5W specs. It's got a 4.8' LCD, 30GB/60GB HD, WiFi, DMB TV, and even USB Host. It even runs on Windows CE 5.0 Professional just like you know who.
Take out the keyboard and add in Bluetooth and you essesntially have the Q5W.

As expected, the Cowon A3 has now been released for sale at
jetmall.net. If you've been looking a solid PMP with a big screen and a
long list of supported media formats, this is it. Sure it doesn't have
WiFi or Bluetooth like its big brother, the Q5W, but it supports more
formats (MKV, VOB, DAT, MTV, AAC/AAC+, BSAC), offers video recording
and comes with a visualizer. Take that, big brother!
A review unit is coming in a couple of days. Can't wait to get our hands on it.
