LG BH100 Unboxed

We were waiting so impatiently for Mr. UPS man to come. Finally at 12:40 PM PST, it arrived. We were as happy as little kids on Christmas morning.

Curious about how the unit really performs?  We are too.  The review is coming so please come back in a few days for a detailed review of the unit.

lol, just unboxing it ? i have had it setup and using it for 2 weeks ! I work at Compusa here in Dallas, i am the actual Home Entertainment Specialist . I couldnt even believe my eyes when i walked into our warehouse and saw a half-dozen of these bad boys in a little stack, i nearly kicked them over rushing towards them. while still puzzled there lookin at the box my GM walked in asking the the hell i was doing and a explained what it was and then showed him the CES coverage about it. He called our corporate office down the street and made sure we ha a thumbs up from LG to put one out. so i ended up connecting it to a 73 MITS DLP and a Denon AVR-3806 w/surround i had on display already.

Wow! Nice dent in that box. Here we have a typical example of how things that we pay for are handled by morons these days. When I say we pay for I mean all the way up the food chain. I'm sure the guy who designed this gadget would do a double take on seeing this box. Or would they? What about the folks who built it, would they? or the folks who shipped it, would they? Problem is most folks don't give a .... . Has to do with numbers. So here we are, been waiting a while to get it, Yay it's finally arrived, wow look at that dent! What to do? By cracking it open, you've accepted delivery and now the game starts. Great it works, whew, But for how long?

This is a common, yet vulgar and pathetic way to rec. goods that you have paid for with good faith and greenbacks that DO NOT GROW on TREES. So Mr. and Mrs. big shot owners and managers and surpervisor's when are you going to get your s... together, because as you can see, you're just not cutt'in it. Don't leave it up to the people humpin the products, they just don't give a damn as you can see by this fine example.

I would've been tempted if it fully supported HD-DVD functions, but the with support as is and the stupid high price I will wait for G2 HD-DVD/Blu-Ray players.

wow its surprising that something that would definitely have been released across the company was only found in the dallas store yet completely unavailable through the website....you sure you work at the compusa in dallas because if i'm correct there is no such thing as a home entertainment specialist...especialy since they got rid of the "specialist" position more than 2 years ago...sorry buddy nice try...prolly didn't expect a real compusa employee to get on here did ya. and the player does kick ass...wonder if it loads as fast as the ps3...unfortunately the ps3 is the only impressive blu-ray to date...

Well, no wonder it looks like the PS3 Media Remote. That's because that's a pretty standard design for a remote. I have a remote that looks almost exactly like that for my standard DVD player that I got before the PS3 was ever even announced.

Go to the Park Lane Store in Dallas off of 75 and i will personally show you this LG BH100 . I am sry if your not one of the stores doing Home Entertainment but, here at 717 we have HE people. And I am the main one. Dallas is the home of Comp, we WOULD get everything here first. The Frisco store has them too around here.
